About this fabric

The midnight ground reads as a cool, near-black navy, allowing ivory, butter yellow, coral, red, blush, lilac and vivid blue flowers to stand out across the curtain. Slender green and ochre stems weave between the blooms, creating a tall, richly layered botanical composition. The velvet surface appears plush and light-catching, with the gathered folds shifting from deep shadow to softer blue highlights. This is a floral velvet curtain designed to bring a theatrical, decorative presence to the window.

How to use it

Use Midnight against warm painted walls, dark timber or antique brass to draw out its gold, red and ochre accents. Let the navy ground anchor a room while picking out one or two of the brighter flower tones in cushions or painted furniture.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
