About this fabric

Winter is catalogued as a Velvet from House of Hackney’s curtain collection, and the photograph shows it made up as full-length curtains. The ground reads as a deep, earthy taupe-brown, overlaid with densely arranged botanical forms. Turquoise and deep teal blooms sit alongside coral-red flowers, cream petals and small touches of purple and green, creating a cool-warm contrast with considerable visual depth. The pleated velvet catches the light on each fold, alternating soft highlights with dark recesses and giving the floral design a dimensional, opulent appearance.
