About this fabric

The woven-looking design features a russet fox or hound at its centre, a curling teal snake, a long-tailed bird, owl, deer and numerous smaller creatures. Rust, ochre, muted teal, sage and deep brown motifs sit clearly against the pale ecru background, giving the colourway warmth without a bright or saturated effect. Its densely arranged large-scale composition reads as an ornamental jacquard suited to statement upholstery. No composition, width, rub-test or other performance specification has been supplied for this listing.

How to use it

Use the warm ecru ground on a reading chair, footstool or occasional sofa, pairing it with natural timber, aged brass and plain upholstery in teal, rust or tobacco tones.

Use this warm ecru jacquard to bring a richly illustrated, collected feel to statement upholstery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
