TREMATONIA Jacquard - Onyx

fabric Fabric1-FA-TRE-JQ-ONX-XXX-XXX

TREMATONIA Jacquard - Onyx is built around a deep black ground crowded with illustrated wildlife and botanical detail. The dark base gives the ochre, sage, rust and pale blue-green threads a jewel-like clarity.

About this fabric

The supplied jacquard fabric is visibly dense and richly woven, making this colourway particularly well suited to upholstery. A lion occupies the centre, with a curling serpent below, while birds, deer and smaller animals appear among layered leaves, flowers and grasses. Onyx black gives the design a dramatic, nocturnal depth, while muted gold, cream, teal, moss and rust accents catch across the surface. The large-scale composition reads as an immersive decorative scene rather than a small repeat.

How to use it

Use Onyx on a statement armchair, ottoman or occasional sofa where its black ground can anchor the room. Balance the illustrated richness with plain cream upholstery, dark wood and touches of aged brass.

Set the onyx ground against warm timber, aged brass or quieter linen to let the illustrated fauna and foliage lead.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
