TREMATONIA Jacquard Curtain - Onyx

curtain FabricHOH-C-1-FA-TRE-JQ-ONX-XXX-XXX

TREMATONIA in Onyx is a richly layered curtain fabric with a near-black ground and an intricate, storybook-like pattern. In the photographed window, its deep colour creates a dramatic frame while the motifs bring warmth and movement to the folds.

About this fabric

The Onyx colourway is built on a deep black ground, densely covered with botanical sprigs, foliage and illustrative natural-history details. Warm rust, ochre, olive, cream and muted blue accents emerge across the pattern, giving the dark base a softly illuminated, tapestry-like character. The jacquard texture is especially visible where the fabric gathers into pleats, adding depth without losing the clarity of the detailed design. Shown as full-length curtains, it reads as an enveloping and highly decorative window treatment.

How to use it

Pair the near-black ground with aged brass, dark timber and warm neutrals, allowing the rust, olive and ochre details to echo through cushions or painted furniture. Keep surrounding surfaces quieter so the dense motif remains the room’s focal point.

Use the near-black ground to anchor warm timber, brass and richly coloured furnishings.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
