About this fabric

The azure ground reads as rich and cool, while coral, rust, ochre, cream and green motifs bring warmth across the design. Large flowers, curling foliage and bird forms create a densely layered botanical scene that remains clearly visible through the curtain folds. As a velvet, the surface has a soft, light-catching depth that accentuates the alternating dark and bright pleats. Shown here as full-length curtains, this colourway has a dramatic, luxe presence.

How to use it

Pair the deep azure blue with warm wood, antique brass and rust or coral accents to echo the flowers and birds. Its saturated tone also works against softly pale window trim, as shown here.

Use the deep azure ground to anchor warm-toned floral and bird motifs in a richly layered room.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
