TIGRE Velvet Curtain - Taupe

curtain VelvetHOH-C-1-FA-TIG-VE-TPE-XXX-XXX

TIGRE Velvet Curtain in Taupe brings a dramatic animal-stripe motif to the window, combining a warm brown-taupe ground with irregular black markings. The deep pleats visibly enhance the velvet’s dark-and-light tonal movement.

About this fabric

The warm taupe-brown ground has an earthy, amber cast in the photographed light, rather than reading as a cool grey taupe. Irregular black tiger stripes run across the cloth in broken, hand-drawn-looking bands, creating a strong vertical rhythm when made into curtains. The velvet surface appears softly lustrous, with the folds alternating between shaded chocolate tones and lighter highlights. As a curtain fabric, this colourway has a richly theatrical presence without the high saturation of brighter ochre or orange shades.

How to use it

Use this warm taupe-brown colourway as a statement window treatment against timber, tobacco leather or softly neutral walls. Keep surrounding textiles quieter so the black tiger stripes remain the room’s main visual accent.

A richly theatrical taupe velvet curtain with black tiger stripes, suited to rooms that embrace pattern and depth.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
