Belvedere Pebble/Pearl

Belvedere Velvets VelvetHAF0100-01

Belvedere Pebble/Pearl combines a muted pebble-taupe ground with irregular pearl-white marks across a softly textured velvet surface. The pale contrast catches the light in a distressed, almost chalky pattern rather than a defined motif.

About this fabric

This 416gsm velvet has a substantial, softly brushed appearance, with the nap helping to vary the depth between the taupe ground and its pale pearl markings. The colourway reads cool to neutral, with a gently weathered finish that keeps the light areas diffuse rather than stark. Its 127cm usable width and 61.8cm vertical by 127cm horizontal pattern repeat give the mottled design a clearly measured layout for upholstery planning. The supplied specification records 146.5 threads per cm and a 40m standard length.

How to use it

Use the cool pebble-taupe ground on an armchair, sofa or headboard where the pearl flecks can add surface interest without introducing a strong motif. It works particularly well with chalky whites, pale stone and brushed metal accents.

Use this softly mottled taupe-pearl velvet to bring subtle texture and a quietly luxurious finish to upholstered seating.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
