About this fabric

This curtain is woven with an ornate scrolling botanical pattern, including curling leaves and stylised flower forms in muted mauve, olive green, brown and dusky blue-grey. Against the pale blush-pink ground, the motifs have a gently antique appearance rather than a bright or high-contrast finish. The jacquard construction is clearly visible in the raised-looking tonal pattern and substantial folds at the heading. No performance features are noted for this fabric.

How to use it

Use Tourmaline at a bedroom or sitting-room window where its dusty pink ground can echo plaster, rosewood or warm neutral walls. Pair it with aged brass, muted olive upholstery and softly weathered timber to support its romantic, timeworn palette.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
