About this fabric

The Onyx colourway is anchored by a near-black background that makes each botanical form appear especially vivid. Large curling paisley leaves and stylised blooms in blue-green, teal and moss create the central rhythm, while cream flowers and small blue blossoms provide carefully placed flashes of light. The dense composition also includes muted ochre and dusty coral accents, adding warmth without softening the design’s dark, dramatic mood.

How to use it

Use Onyx across a feature wall where its black ground can create depth, pairing it with dark timber, aged brass or deep teal upholstery. Balance the dense botanical pattern with plain fabrics in charcoal, moss or warm cream.

Use the deep Onyx ground to give a room a richly layered, jewel-toned botanical backdrop.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
