TREMATONIA Wallpaper - Onyx

wallpaper Wallpaper1-WA-TRE-DI-ONX-XXX-004

TREMATONIA Wallpaper in Onyx unfolds as a densely illustrated chinoiserie menagerie against a deep black ground. The dark setting gives its birds, animals, flowers and foliage a richly nocturnal presence.

About this fabric

Onyx places the densely populated menagerie on a near-black ground, giving the design a deep, nocturnal character. Across it, a reclining tawny lion, curling blue-green serpent, tall birds, deer and owls sit among fine branches, palms, flowers and broad leaves. Ochre, rust, cream, teal and muted green accents remain clearly picked out against the dark background, while the intricate repeat reads as richly layered rather than open. No composition, width or performance specification has been supplied for this wallpaper.

How to use it

Use this onyx colourway to create a dramatic dining room, snug or bedroom scheme, balancing its black ground with warm timber, antique brass and the ochre, teal and rust notes found in the illustration.

Pair the deep onyx ground with warm timber, aged brass and richly coloured furnishings for a layered, theatrical interior.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
