About this fabric

The near-black ground creates strong depth across the illustrated repeat, while white playing cards and pale clothing provide crisp contrast. Alice, the White Rabbit, card characters and other Wonderland figures appear among curling leaves, flowers and botanical stems. Ochre, rust, teal, blue and burgundy accents add restrained jewel-like colour without weakening the dark tone.
