About this fabric

Mishima Denim combines a muted denim-blue ground with pale blue-grey and warm flax-coloured lines in a tightly repeating geometric weave. Small linked, angled motifs create an even all-over texture, while the lighter threads catch across the surface rather than reading as a flat solid. At 679 gsm and 140 cm usable width, it has a substantial specification suited to upholstery. The pattern repeats every 18.3 cm vertically and 23.3 cm horizontally, keeping the directional geometry clear across a larger upholstered piece.

How to use it

Use this cool, slightly softened blue on an occasional chair, sofa or headboard, where its small-scale geometry can add structure without overwhelming the room. Balance it with chalky neutrals, natural oak and warm flax tones that pick up the lighter threads in the weave.
