Montpellier Tusk is a softly luminous ivory cream with a close, finely textured weave. In the swatch, delicate directional movement across the surface keeps the pale shade from appearing flat.

About this fabric

This colourway reads as warm rather than stark white, with a gentle creamy depth that changes subtly as the light catches the small woven ripples. The surface is an unpatterned plain weave, reflected in its 0cm vertical and horizontal pattern repeats. At 330gsm and 142cm usable width, it has the substance to work across both upholstery and drapery applications. The standard length is 40m, making it practical for larger coordinated schemes.

How to use it

Use Tusk to brighten a room without the sharper contrast of pure white: it would sit naturally on a softly tailored chair, headboard or full-length curtain. Pair the warm ivory with honeyed timber, chalky walls and muted natural tones to bring out its quiet woven depth.

The warm ivory tone and barely visible woven movement suit both tailored upholstery and softly structured curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
