Luxoria Gatsby Opal Wavy

SS24 Images - Jardine, Luxoria & Orissa Fabric

Luxoria Gatsby Opal Wavy pairs a softly luminous taupe ground with an opal-toned geometric wave that feels rich and architectural. The large-scale pattern reads as a statement drapery cloth with plenty of tonal contrast and sheen.

About this fabric

Woven in 53% cotton and 47% viscose, this fabric has a refined handle and a subtle lustre that suits decorative drapery and accessories rather than upholstery, which it is not suitable for. The design shows a repeating Art Deco-inspired wave motif in layered taupe, ivory, stone and warm gold-brown tones, with the paler centres giving the pattern a bright opal flash. A 37cm horizontal repeat and 63cm vertical repeat create a substantial, flowing layout across 144cm usable width. It is treatable for FR drapery and carries a colour fastness rating of 6.

How to use it

Use this colourway for full-length curtains, Roman blinds or cushions in a room that needs a little glamour without strong colour. Its muted taupe base and opal highlights sit beautifully with walnut, plaster, bronze and soft cream finishes.

Use in elegant curtains or accessories where the metallic opal accents can catch the light.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
