Hartland Olive

SS26 Images - Botanical Archive, Terrana & Hartland Fabric

Hartland Olive is a very soft, low-contrast stripe with a calm, pared-back look. The olive-toned lines sit over a pale ground, giving the cloth a fresh, lightly textured feel.

About this fabric

Woven in 50% cotton and 50% polyester, Hartland Olive has a neat vertical stripe repeat of 2 cm that reads crisp and understated in the swatch. The usable width is 138 cm and the cloth is specified as Heavy Domestic with a Martindale rating of 30,000, making it suitable for both upholstery and drapery applications. Its FR treatment suitability for drapery and upholstery adds practical flexibility, while colour fastness of 6 and pilling of 3 support everyday use. Visually, the olive stripe is muted and earthy rather than vivid, so the design feels more natural and relaxed than high-contrast.

How to use it

Use Hartland Olive on tailored cushions, banquettes or Roman blinds where the fine stripe can add order without feeling formal. Its soft olive-on-pale palette works especially well with limestone whites, oak and brushed brass.

A quiet stripe that layers easily with warm neutrals and natural timbers.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
