Hartland Salcombe Sandstone
SS26 Images - Botanical Archive, Terrana & Hartland Fabric
Hartland Salcombe Sandstone is a fine vertical stripe in soft sandstone, cream and grey, with a calm, weathered feel. The narrow repeat gives it a tailored look without losing its relaxed, coastal character.

About this fabric
This colourway combines warm beige ground tones with cool grey pinstripes and chalky cream bands, creating a quietly textured stripe that reads light rather than heavy. Woven in 50% cotton and 50% polyester, it has a crisp, usable handle and a smart surface detail that suits the clean vertical rhythm shown in the image. The design has a 2cm horizontal pattern repeat, a 138cm usable width and a 30,000 Martindale rub test, giving it practical strength for heavy domestic use. It is treatable for FR drapery and upholstery, with colour fastness 6 and pilling 3, and should be dry cleaned only.
How to use it
Use it on relaxed dining chairs, cushion covers or structured curtains where the slim sandstone stripe can soften stone, oak and painted timber. Its muted warmth works especially well in airy coastal schemes, adding pattern without overpowering the room.
Works well on upholstery or curtains where you want a soft coastal-neutral stripe.

Pairs well with
A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Hartland Salcombe Sandstone without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
