About this fabric

This colourway shows a creamy off-white base crossed with slender warm beige stripes, creating a dry, sandy stripe that feels understated rather than bold. The weave reads smooth and tightly worked, with a matte finish that keeps the pattern crisp. Made from 50% cotton and 50% polyester, it is specified as Heavy Domestic with a 30,000 Martindale rub test, so it has the durability for practical interior use. The 2cm horizontal repeat and zero vertical repeat support the orderly stripe effect seen here, while FR treatment makes it treatable for both drapery and upholstery. Care is Dry Clean Only, and the colour fastness of 6 suggests the pale base will hold its tone well in use.

How to use it

This warm dune stripe works well in relaxed country schemes, especially on lined curtains, Roman blinds or loose covers where the vertical line can quietly lift a room. Pair it with oak, linen and soft stone tones to keep the palette light and grounded.

Use it for tailored curtains or accessories where the soft stripe can add quiet structure.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Hartland Solara Dune without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
