Isle Mill

County Roscommon

Tartans Fabric

County Roscommon brings together deep red, near-black and blue-teal checks, crossed by bright mustard lines. Its strongly textured twill gives the tartan a tactile, closely woven appearance.

About this fabric

The design is formed from broad red and dark teal blocks, with near-black bands adding definition and depth. Mustard-gold stripes intersect the checks in uneven-width lines, creating a vivid traditional tartan rhythm. The close diagonal twill is clearly visible across the swatch, giving the surface a tactile, structured look rather than a flat printed finish. The combination of saturated red, shadowy teal and warm gold makes this a substantial-looking woven fabric for upholstery.

How to use it

Use County Roscommon on a statement chair, ottoman or occasional sofa where its red and gold checks can sit against dark wood, aged leather or deep teal accents.

Pair the rich red and dark teal checks with warm timber, leather and brass accents.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
