About this fabric

The colour reads as gentle rosewater: a warm peach-pink softened rather than highly saturated, with subtle tonal variation across the padded surface. Irregular triangular and petal-like shapes interlock across the cloth, creating a compact geometric texture without a printed motif. Raised seams and cushioned centres give the fabric a sculptural, almost quilted appearance, while the darker recesses add depth. No performance features are noted in the supplied listing, so the visible plush construction is the defining characteristic of this exact colourway.

How to use it

Use this warm rosewater peach on a statement armchair, headboard or softly structured sofa where its raised texture can be seen at close range. Pair it with chalky neutrals, light timber and muted terracotta for a cocooning scheme that keeps the colour gentle rather than sugary.

A sculptural rosewater textile whose raised, padded texture brings tactile depth to upholstered seating.

Pairs well with

Area Rosewater is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
