About this fabric

Catalogued as a Fabric in Kirkby Design’s 4d Upholstery collection, Code Ivy has a dense, compact woven appearance that suits upholstery. Olive and charcoal threads combine to create a tiny, irregular flecked pattern rather than a flat solid colour. The dark olive tone reads cool and grounded, while the close weave gives the surface gentle visual depth without a pronounced motif. No performance features are noted in the supplied data.

How to use it

Use Code Ivy on a contemporary armchair, sofa or upholstered headboard where its deep olive tone can sit alongside warm timber, aged brass and natural neutrals. Its charcoal detailing also makes it easy to connect with darker flooring or architectural accents.

The deep olive ground and charcoal flecked weave bring quiet depth to upholstered seating and headboards.

Pairs well with

Code Ivy is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
