About this fabric

This fabric is defined by a small-scale woven texture, with tiny interlocking threads creating a lightly pebbled, granular face. Its warm taupe-brown tone is softened by fine grey and beige flecks, preventing the colour from reading as flat or overly dark. The even weave and restrained tonal variation give it a relaxed, natural character suited to upholstered forms. No performance features are noted in the supplied specification for this fabric.

How to use it

Use Alter Truffle on an armchair, sofa or ottoman where its warm mushroom-brown tone can sit comfortably with chalky neutrals, aged timber and darker bronze accents. Its quiet texture also works well as a grounding upholstery against softer patterned curtains or cushions.

A warm, finely textured taupe-brown weave that brings quiet depth to upholstered seating.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
