Tile Flax

Rock Fabric

Tile Flax combines a warm flax-taupe ground with a crisp ivory geometric pattern. Its stepped tile shapes and even woven surface give the colourway a calm, graphic presence.

About this fabric

The design is formed from large ivory cross-like tiles, smaller stepped squares and connecting angular links, all arranged across the taupe ground. The close, even weave gives the surface a subtle textile grain, while the low contrast between the warm neutral base and ivory pattern keeps the geometry measured rather than stark. In this colourway, the flax tone reads softly warm and lightly chalky, with the pale motifs catching the eye without overpowering the ground. No performance features are noted for this fabric.

How to use it

Use Tile Flax on a tailored chair, sofa or full-length curtain where its warm taupe base can sit alongside oak, limewashed timber and creamy textiles. The ivory geometry also works well as a restrained graphic accent in a neutral room.

Pair the warm flax-taupe ground with natural wood, ivory upholstery and softly textured neutrals.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
