Sand Porcelain

Rock Fabric

Sand Porcelain is a pale, softly warm neutral with a finely textured woven surface. Its quiet flecking gives the light shade subtle depth rather than a flat, solid appearance.

About this fabric

The close weave combines sand-beige and ivory threads in a restrained, irregular texture that reads almost porcelain-light across the swatch. Tiny darker flecks and fine crosswise variation add definition without forming a distinct motif. The compact woven face has enough visual substance to suit upholstery, particularly where a calm, tailored finish is wanted. In changing light, the warm beige ground remains delicate while the mixed threads prevent it from looking stark white.

How to use it

Pair Sand Porcelain with pale oak, chalky walls and warm stone for a light, tonal scheme, or use it to soften deeper taupe and brown upholstery details. Its fine flecked texture works especially well on clean-lined chairs, headboards and occasional seating.

Use this softly flecked sand-beige weave to bring light, understated texture to upholstered seating.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
