Knot Desert

4d Drapery Fabric

Knot Desert is represented here by a monochrome construction drawing rather than a colour photograph, while clearly showing the open, repeating looped structure. The room-high diagram shows the construction extending neatly from one marked selvedge to the other.

About this fabric

The supplied image shows repeating linked loops arranged in horizontal rows, creating the distinctive knotted texture of this design. A denser vertical framework appears at the sides, with both selvedges clearly labelled and a bold black reference bar near the upper edge. The “RH – Room High” marking identifies a room-high format suited to full-length drapery. No composition, width, rub test or performance feature has been supplied for this exact fabric.

How to use it

Use the Desert colourway as a warm sandy neutral against chalky walls, natural timber and softly textured upholstery. Its open looping construction will bring pattern and gentle visual movement to full-height curtains without relying on a bold, saturated colour.

The Desert colourway brings a warm sandy character to this open, room-high looping construction, suited to softly structured curtains.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Knot Desert without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
