Sand Plum

Rock Fabric

Sand Plum is a deep, muted plum textile with a close, finely pebbled weave. Burgundy, brown and subtle lighter threads move through the surface, giving this dark colourway a softly mottled depth.

About this fabric

The swatch reads as a rich plum-burgundy shade rather than a bright purple, with the dense woven texture preventing the colour from appearing flat. Fine interlaced threads create a granular surface and catch the light in small, restrained variations across the fabric. Catalogued as a fabric with no performance features noted, Sand Plum is best suited to upholstery where its compact texture and grounded colour can add visual weight.

How to use it

Pair Sand Plum with warm timber, dark bronze and softened neutral upholstery for a cocooning scheme. Its brown-burgundy undertone also works well as a deeper accent against pale stone or warm cream walls.

Use this richly shaded plum weave to bring depth and a quietly tailored feel to upholstered seating.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
