Kirkby Design

Pergola Brazil

Pergola Brazil has a warm, mushroom-like taupe-brown tone that feels softened rather than stark. The close weave creates a subtly varied surface, with the small interlaced marks shifting gently across the swatch.

About this fabric

Pergola Brazil is the Fabric colourway from Kirkby Design’s Pergola collection. In this swatch, the taupe-brown ground is threaded with lighter beige and deeper brown details, giving the neutral shade gentle depth without a visible printed motif. Its tightly packed, fine weave has a dry, tactile appearance and catches the light in small tonal changes. No performance features, composition, width or rub-test information has been supplied for this exact fabric, so its suitability should be confirmed for the intended upholstery application.

How to use it

Use this warm taupe-brown colourway on an upholstered chair, headboard or sofa where its fine tonal variation can sit alongside timber, woven accessories and creamy neutrals.

Pair the warm taupe-brown ground with natural oak, aged leather and soft ivory upholstery for a quietly layered scheme.

Pairs well with

Pergola Brazil is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
