Pergola Azure

Pergola Azure is a deep blue-teal fabric with a finely woven, gently irregular surface. Its cool azure tone has enough depth to read as richly coloured without appearing glossy or overly bright.

About this fabric

Across the swatch, the colour shifts subtly between blue and teal, giving the plain surface a softened, dimensional character. A close, crosshatched weave is visible throughout, with tiny variations in the threads creating a tactile finish rather than a perfectly flat block of colour. The compact-looking construction makes it suitable to consider for both upholstery and drapery, although no further usage, composition, width or rub-test data has been supplied. No performance features are noted for this colourway.

How to use it

Pair the cool depth of Pergola Azure with pale timber, warm neutrals or brushed metal to balance its saturated blue-teal character. It can bring calm colour to a tailored chair, sofa or full-length curtain without relying on a pattern.

Use this deep azure teal as a cool, richly coloured foundation for tailored upholstery or understated curtains.

Pairs well with

Pergola Azure is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
