Pergola Jet Black

Pergola Fabric

Pergola Jet Black is a deep, near-black textile with a closely peppered surface that shifts subtly between charcoal and soft grey. The fine woven texture gives this dark colourway visual depth rather than a flat, solid appearance.

About this fabric

Viewed closely, the ground reads as charcoal black, broken by tiny lighter flecks that create a restrained, salt-and-pepper effect. The dense, even weave appears substantial and tailored, making it best suited to upholstery rather than lightweight window treatments. Its low-contrast texture keeps the overall look calm while adding enough variation to show across a larger upholstered surface. No composition, width, rub-test or performance specification has been supplied for this fabric.

How to use it

Use Pergola Jet Black on a contemporary sofa, occasional chair or dining seat where its cool charcoal depth can anchor paler timber, stone and brushed-metal finishes. The understated micro-texture also works well with layered black and grey accessories without making the room feel visually flat.

Its near-black, finely flecked weave brings depth and a tailored feel to upholstered seating.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
