About this fabric

The colour reads as saturated teal, softened by darker threads that give the surface a gently variegated appearance. Tiny broken rectangular marks form an all-over pattern, creating visual interest without a large or obvious motif. The dense-looking weave has a tactile, finely grained finish, while subtle shifts between blue-green and charcoal-teal add depth as the light moves across it.

How to use it

Use Pergola Teal on a reading chair, headboard or sofa where its cool, deep tone can act as a rich colour anchor. Pair it with warm timber, aged brass and pale neutral upholstery to balance the intensity of the teal.

Use this deep teal woven texture to bring quiet colour and subtle surface interest to upholstered seating.

Pairs well with

Pergola Teal is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
