Chelsea Oregano

Chelsea Ii Fabric

Chelsea Oregano is a plain, finely woven textile in a muted olive shade with a warm, earthy cast. The close surface has a restrained vertical grain, giving the otherwise solid colour a little tonal movement.

About this fabric

In this colourway, the olive tone is softened by brown and ochre undertones, creating a grounded, herb-like shade rather than a bright green. Fine, closely spaced threads form a subtle vertical striation across the surface, while the even weave keeps the appearance calm and understated. The texture adds gentle depth as light moves across the cloth without introducing a visible motif. No performance features are noted for this fabric.

How to use it

Pair Chelsea Oregano with warm natural woods, aged brass and oatmeal textiles, or use it to add muted green depth to a room of stone, taupe and tobacco tones. Its quiet plain weave is suited to relaxed upholstery and softly tailored drapery.

Use this earthy olive-brown plain weave to bring quiet depth to relaxed upholstery, curtains or layered neutral schemes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
