Pavillion Shadow pairs pale ivory grounds with sharply defined charcoal vertical bands. The structured woven surface gives the stripe a clean, tailored character while retaining visible textile texture.

About this fabric

This colourway is built around alternating ivory and charcoal stripes, with the darker bands showing a fine diagonal herringbone-like weave. The contrast is cool and restrained rather than dramatic, giving the pattern a quietly graphic presence. Its firm-looking, closely woven construction makes it best suited to upholstery applications. Viewed closely, the pale sections carry a subtle linear grain that prevents the ivory from appearing completely flat.

How to use it

Use Pavillion Shadow on a structured armchair, dining seat or compact sofa where its charcoal-and-ivory contrast can read as a smart architectural stripe. Pair it with warm timber and soft stone shades to balance the cool grey depth.

A tailored vertical stripe that brings crisp charcoal contrast to pale ivory upholstery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
