Orion Nettle

Orion Ii Fabric

Orion Nettle is a deep olive-green textile with an almost black cast, giving the surface a quietly atmospheric character. Fine horizontal striations move across the swatch, adding texture without introducing a visible motif.

About this fabric

The close-up reveals a dense-looking woven surface in a muted nettle green, considerably deeper than a fresh or yellow-toned olive. Subtle variations between green-black and softer olive threads create gentle depth as the light catches the horizontal weave. The design is visually plain, with the interest coming from its linear texture rather than a printed or woven pattern. No composition, width or rub-test data was supplied for this colourway.

How to use it

Use Orion Nettle on a statement armchair, sofa or headboard where its dark olive tone can anchor warmer timber, aged brass and earthy neutrals. Its near-black depth also suits layered, low-lit rooms that need texture without a strong pattern.

Use this near-black olive shade to bring depth and quiet structure to upholstered seating.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
