Orion Tobacco

Orion Ii Fabric

Orion Tobacco is a richly shaded brown textile with a warm, ambered depth. Its close-up surface shows a quiet horizontal texture rather than a decorative motif, giving the colour a softly layered appearance.

About this fabric

The fabric appears as a dense, even weave in a deep tobacco brown, with subtle golden-brown variation running across the surface. Fine horizontal slubs and striations catch the light gently, preventing the solid colour from looking flat while retaining its understated character. The textile has enough visual body to suit upholstery as well as drapery. No performance features are noted in the supplied specification for this colourway.

How to use it

Pair Orion Tobacco with aged timber, camel leather and muted cream upholstery for a warm, grounded room. Its amber-brown depth can also bring richness to curtains or a tailored occasional chair without introducing a strong pattern.

Use this warm tobacco tone to add depth to upholstered seating, cushions or full-length curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
