Orion Ink

Orion Ii Fabric

Orion Ink is a deep, near-black navy textile with subtle blue variation across its horizontally textured surface. Its dark tone absorbs the light in the swatch, while fine tonal shifts prevent it from looking completely flat.

About this fabric

The swatch shows a close, dense-looking weave with softly irregular horizontal striations rather than a printed motif. Blue-black fibres are layered with slightly lighter navy threads, creating a shadowed, tactile finish with understated movement. No composition, width or rub-test information has been supplied for this colourway, so technical suitability should be confirmed before ordering. Its substantial-looking visual weight makes it particularly suited to upholstery-led schemes that call for a rich, low-light finish.

How to use it

Use Orion Ink on a statement armchair, sofa or upholstered headboard where its deep navy tone can anchor a room. Pair it with warm timber, aged brass or pale textured furnishings to draw out the subtle blue variation without lightening its character.

A deep ink navy woven texture that brings quiet richness and depth to upholstered pieces.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
