Picnic Pomegranate

Picnic Pomegranate combines a warm pomegranate-pink tone with a tightly textured, blue-flecked weave. Its small-scale surface gives the colour depth, shifting from coral pink to deeper berry shades across the folded swatch.

About this fabric

Catalogued as Outdoor, this Kirkby Design fabric has a dense, closely woven surface suited to upholstery. Tiny blue-grey threads sit against the pomegranate-pink ground, creating a fine checked texture rather than a flat block of colour. The weave reads brighter on the raised folds and deeper in the shaded creases, giving the warm red-pink shade noticeable dimension. Its compact texture brings a smart, tactile finish to outdoor seating and other hard-working upholstery.

How to use it

Pair this warm pomegranate pink with charcoal, weathered timber or cool blue-grey accents to balance its lively colour. It would make a confident choice for outdoor cushions, bench seating or a compact upholstered chair.

Use this warm pomegranate pink weave to bring richly coloured, finely textured upholstery to indoor-outdoor seating.

Pairs well with

Picnic Pomegranate is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
