Profile Chalk

Profile Fabric

Profile Chalk is a quiet, near-solid taupe with a gently chalked appearance. The close weave creates a subtle surface grain that softens the colour rather than adding a visible pattern.

About this fabric

Profile Chalk reads as a pale warm grey-taupe, lighter and softer than a conventional beige. Its fine, even weave is visible across the swatch, giving the surface a restrained texture and slight variation as it catches the light. No composition, width, rub test or performance features have been supplied for this exact fabric, so the image is the guide to its appearance. The absence of a strong motif makes the chalk tone the defining feature of this colourway.

How to use it

Use Profile Chalk to keep a room light and composed, particularly on a softly tailored chair, sofa or full-length curtain. Pair its chalky taupe tone with warm white, pale timber and muted stone shades for a gentle tonal scheme.

The softly chalked taupe tone and fine woven surface suit calm upholstery, curtains and layered neutral schemes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
