About this fabric
Layer Plum is a densely coloured plum-purple textile with fine, broken horizontal slubs visible across the surface. Its dark berry tone reads cool and restrained, while scattered lighter threads catch the light as subtle linear flecks. The close, even weave gives the swatch a softly tactile, fabric-led character rather than a printed motif. No composition, width or rub-test specification has been supplied for this colourway.
How to use it
Use this deep plum shade to bring depth to a neutral room, particularly on an upholstered chair, occasional cushion or softly tailored curtain. Pair it with warm timber, aged brass and muted stone tones to balance its cool berry character.
Use the deep plum tone to add a rich, grounded accent to upholstery, cushions or full-length curtains.

Pairs well with
Layer Plum is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
