About this fabric

The pale cream ground has a delicate porcelain cast rather than a warm yellow undertone, while the blue-grey stripes add definition without overpowering it. Each stripe is formed from slim, closely spaced lines, creating a precise vertical motif with a subtly layered appearance. A fine, even textile texture is visible across the swatch, giving the design a gentle matt depth as the light moves over it. No composition, width, rub test or performance specification has been supplied for this exact fabric.

How to use it

Use Porcelaine where a room needs light structure: full-length curtains will emphasise its vertical direction, while cushions or occasional upholstery can introduce the cool cream-and-blue-grey palette more quietly.

Use the cool porcelain ground and blue-grey striping to bring tailored rhythm to curtains, cushions or occasional upholstery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
