Brasilia Fabric

Brasilia Anthracite is a deep charcoal-grey textile with a closely worked, softly irregular surface. Its layered tonal weave gives the colour depth without introducing a defined motif.

About this fabric

The fabric appears almost black at first glance, but close inspection reveals subtle charcoal, graphite and smoky-grey threads throughout the ground. Its dense, slightly nubby texture catches the light unevenly, creating a quiet mottled effect rather than a flat block of colour. No separate printed pattern is visible, allowing the tactile weave and tonal variation to lead. This dark, composed colourway is particularly suited to upholstered pieces where texture can soften the severity of anthracite.

How to use it

Use Brasilia Anthracite on a sofa, armchair or dining seat in a contemporary room, pairing its cool charcoal depth with pale timber, brushed metal or warm natural accents. Its restrained tonal variation can also balance stronger patterned cushions without competing for attention.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
