Jaguar Ink

Brasilia Fabric

Jaguar Ink is a deep charcoal-grey textile with a softly mottled surface, shifting subtly between ink-dark flecks and cooler grey ground. Its close, granular texture gives the colourway a quiet visual depth rather than a flat solid appearance.

About this fabric

The surface is densely textured, with fine peppered marks and blurred tonal variation spread across the grey-black ground. Light catches the raised and irregular weave gently, creating a soft, low-contrast movement across the cloth. The overall impression is cool, understated and substantial, making this colourway particularly suited to tailored upholstery. No composition, width or rub-test information is supplied, and no performance features are noted for this fabric.

How to use it

Use Jaguar Ink on a contemporary armchair, sofa or headboard where its cool charcoal tone can anchor softer greys, pale timber and brushed metal. The subtly flecked surface will add depth without introducing a strong decorative motif.

Use the cool charcoal tone to give upholstered seating a quietly dramatic, textured finish.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Jaguar Ink without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
