Square Cut Silver

Collage Wallpaper

Square Cut Silver brings a cool, muted silver-grey patchwork to the wall, formed from irregular squares and rectangles with visibly varied linear grain. In the room setting shown, its restrained tone gives the arrangement behind the sofa a softly architectural character.

About this fabric

The design is made up of medium-scale geometric blocks, each carrying a different direction of fine, tactile-looking striation. Silver grey, soft taupe and charcoal-grey tones sit together in a low-contrast composition, so the surface reads as layered rather than sharply graphic. The subtle changes in line direction catch the light across the wall while retaining a matt, understated appearance. This colourway is catalogued as wallpaper and works particularly well as a calm backdrop to the rust, olive and slate cushions shown.

How to use it

Use Square Cut Silver across a living-room feature wall where its cool grey blocks can balance warm rust leather, olive velvet and dark timber. Keep adjacent furnishings tonal to let the directional surface detail remain visible.

Pair the cool silver-grey blocks with charcoal, rust and olive upholstery for a layered, quietly architectural room.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
