Haze Metal

Haze Fabric

Haze Metal is a cool, subdued grey with the softened depth of aged metal. Its close-up surface reveals fine horizontal slubs and delicate tonal variation rather than a printed motif.

About this fabric

The woven face combines charcoal-grey, olive-grey and lighter grey threads in a quietly irregular texture. Fine horizontal lines give the surface a gently striated appearance, while the low-contrast colour keeps the overall effect calm and understated. The fabric has a dense-looking, versatile weave that can read equally well on upholstery or as a softly structured window treatment. No composition, width or rub-test specification has been supplied for this exact colourway.

How to use it

Use Haze Metal to temper warm timber, stone and brushed metal in a room, or pair its cool grey-green cast with chalky neutrals and deep charcoal. Its restrained texture suits a tailored armchair, bench or relaxed curtain where subtle surface movement can be seen at close range.

Its cool, softly mottled metal-grey tone brings quiet depth to tailored upholstery, cushions or full-length curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
