Jazz Charcoal

Jazz Iii Fabric

Jazz Charcoal is a deep charcoal-grey fabric with a quiet, finely textured surface. Its dark tone reads almost black in the deepest areas, while the weave creates gentle tonal variation across the face.

About this fabric

The colour is cool and restrained, with a softly mottled charcoal appearance rather than a flat, uniform black. Fine vertical striations are visible through the weave, adding understated movement without introducing a distinct motif. The low-contrast surface gives the fabric a smart, tailored character and lets its depth change subtly as the light moves across it.

How to use it

Use Jazz Charcoal on a sofa, armchair or headboard where its cool, near-black tone can anchor lighter walls, pale timber and brushed metal accents. Keep surrounding textiles softly varied in texture to complement the fabric’s discreet vertical weave.

Use this deep charcoal weave to give upholstered seating a grounded, tailored presence.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
