About this fabric

The ground is a soft, quiet grey with a slight warm greige cast, while lighter flecks create a gently mottled surface. Small horizontal marks appear in irregular vertical columns, giving the design a measured but handmade-looking cadence. The close weave catches the light unevenly, adding depth without making the pattern dominant. Its balanced scale and textile texture allow the colourway to sit comfortably across both upholstery and drapery applications.

How to use it

Pair Traverse Gris with chalky whites, pale oak and muted stone tones for a calm, layered interior. Its low-contrast greige-grey ground is especially effective on a reading chair, upholstered headboard or full-length curtain.

Use this softly mottled grey weave to bring quiet texture to seating, curtains or blinds.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
