About this fabric

The colourway is led by a muted silver-grey base, with the pale ivory motif standing out clearly without becoming stark. Repeating leafy forms, curled tendrils and small spiral details create a measured, medium-scale surface pattern. Fine vertical striations are visible through the ground, adding gentle tonal depth and catching the light differently across the weave. No performance features are noted for this fabric.

How to use it

Use Cartouche Tay where its cool grey tone can temper warmer furnishings, such as an upholstered occasional chair, relaxed curtains or a decorative cushion. Natural wood, chalky whites and charcoal accents will reinforce its quietly graphic character.

Pair the cool silver-grey ground with warm ivory, charcoal or natural timber for a balanced scheme.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
