Scribe Indigo

Timeless Embroideries Fabric

Scribe Indigo presents a deep, cool indigo ground crossed by closely spaced rows of small pale marks. The dark blue tone gives the surface a quietly graphic, finely textured character.

About this fabric

The ground reads as a rich, near-navy indigo, while the short pale blue-white marks create broken horizontal lines across the cloth. Their uneven spacing and varied density give the surface a woven, tactile rhythm rather than a flat printed appearance. The small-scale design remains detailed up close but settles into a subtly striated effect from farther away. No performance features are noted for this fabric.

How to use it

Pair this cool indigo colourway with chalky whites, pale oak and soft grey to keep the room crisp, or use it against warm timber for contrast. Its compact linear texture suits tailored upholstery, cushions and full-length curtains.

Use the cool indigo ground and fine pale markings to add graphic texture to upholstery, cushions or curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
