Ogee Indigo

Timeless Embroideries Fabric

Ogee Indigo pairs a deep, cool indigo ground with a repeating pale dotted ogee lattice. Fine vertical texture in the ground gives the blue surface a softly varied, woven appearance.

About this fabric

The pattern forms linked diamond shapes with narrow almond-like ogees at each junction, all picked out in small pale dots. Against the dark blue ground, the motif reads as crisp and graphic without becoming stark, while the woven striations soften its edges. The colour has a cool charcoal cast in the shadowed areas and a slightly lighter blue lift where the surface catches the light. No performance features or further specification data are noted for this fabric.

How to use it

Use Ogee Indigo where a room needs a cool, architectural blue with a clear repeating rhythm: tailored upholstery, a pair of curtains or neatly piped cushions. Balance its dark ground with pale stone, chalk or warm timber accents so the dotted lattice remains distinct.

The deep indigo ground and pale dotted ogee lattice bring tailored contrast to upholstery, curtains and cushions.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
