Foundation Gunmetal

Timeless Textures Fabric

Foundation Gunmetal is a deep grey textile with a closely woven, tactile surface. Its finely crosshatched structure gives the shade subtle variation rather than a flat, uniform finish.

About this fabric

The colour reads as a muted gunmetal grey, with a slight warmth in the darker threads and a soft lift where the lighter yarns catch the light. A compact plain weave creates the visible vertical and horizontal texture across the surface, while the absence of a printed motif keeps the appearance restrained. The dense-looking construction gives this fabric a structured presence suitable for both upholstery and drapery. No composition, width, rub-test or performance data has been supplied for this fabric.

How to use it

Use the deep gunmetal tone to give an armchair, headboard or full-length curtain a quietly architectural feel. Its subtle woven variation pairs naturally with pale stone, warm timber and other soft grey tones.

A dense, finely textured gunmetal-grey weave that can bring quiet depth to upholstery, curtains or blinds.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
