Timeless Textures Fabric

Foundation Fossil is a softly warm, pale beige textile with a dense, tactile surface. In the folded swatch, its close weave creates gentle horizontal bands of light and shade.

About this fabric

The face is formed from a closely woven field of tiny, pebble-like loops or cells, giving the fabric a subtly granular character rather than a flat finish. Its fossil tone sits between warm ivory and light beige, with the folds revealing slightly deeper oat-coloured shading. The compact texture and substantial-looking drape make it a natural choice for upholstered seating and occasional furniture. No composition, width or rub-test figure is supplied, and no performance features are noted for this colourway.

How to use it

Use Foundation Fossil on a reading chair, headboard or compact sofa where its warm beige tone can soften ivory walls and natural timber. Add sharper contrast with charcoal, aged bronze or muted olive accents.

Pair its warm fossil-beige ground with ivory, oat and softly aged timber.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
